Guh..

For a 1st submission this is actually quite good, but I hate the way the drums start and then they stop as the bass line comes in..
Needs to be longer, more melody, and vocals!

I love this song, =] My fave song from you.
But there is one thing I would want someone to add, is a good guitar (slow, not distorded, but electric) over some of the song, would make it sound more, betterish. Otherwise, the song gets a 5/5

Fuck..

That was soo awesome, sweet, slow, makes you feel all lonely, and flash backs of old days.
The only bad thing is that its very repetitive, until the haprsichord comes in.
Improvments could be slow, mellow drums behind the instruments, and the drum to be quiet, to add to the effect.

But other than that, its a pretty much a perfect song, i still voted a 10 and a 5 =]

I havnt heard the original, but if you get rid of the main synth, and change it to a distorted guitar, a real one, then it would be a 10.
Maybe lyrics?
and this isnt really "Heavy Metal" more like pop or general rock, even if Sonata Artica are metal.

I'm not a guitarist, so all I have is my keyboard. I could have used a guitar MIDI, but it sounds really corny.

If I get one of my friends to do the guitar part, I'll throw it on into the audio portal.

WHat i dont get is...

That whenever I use over 12 patterns in FL7, the sound goes all funny, ive even tried exporting it and putting it on my iPod and it still sounds all stacity and all crazy. Is it just me who has the problem?

Im not sure why the sound would go all weird for you when you use over 12 patterns.
Sometimes if you run too many melodies at once the program cant handle it and goes all spastic, but thats only when your running all the melodies at once.

The worst part of the song is that the notes kinda clashed, and it was too short!! Keep on working with this song, maybe add in drums and a distored guitar part? Would sound pretty badass.
